Zero Sugar Coke contains a substance called sodium nitrate, while Diet Coke contains citric acid or nitric acid. Diet Coke is a variant of Coca-Cola that is claimed to be sugar-free and launched for the first time in 1983. Followed by Cola-Cola Zero 2006, then replaced with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar 2016 yesterday.

Zero Sugar Coke
For zero sugar coke, this drink contains a substance called sodium nitrate. The motto of this drink is "Real Coca-Cola Taste AND Zero Calories." In the nutritional value information section, this drink contains 0 calories, 0 grams of fat, 70 mg of sodium, 0 grams of protein and 0 grams of total carbs.
Just like diet coke, this drink is also claimed to be sugar-free. Zero sugar coke is a variant of Coca-Cola which is fairly new because it was first launched in 2006 under the name Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. In 2016, the name of this drink was changed to Zero Sugar Coke. For taste, this drink tastes more like Coca-Cola Classic.
Coca-Cola said sales of low-calorie Coca-Cola increased overall sales by 43 percent — surprisingly and the chemical mix worked.
In a statement on its official website, the trademark explained the difference between the two variants of the fizzy drink that fans love the most. "Both are sugar and calorie free. Coca-Cola Zero Sugar looks and feels like a Coca-Cola Classic, while Diet Coke feels lighter."
