Diet in 7 Days Weight Loss up to 8 Kilograms


 If you are planning to lose weight, this type of General Motors Diet (DGM) is believed to be able to make your weight loss success in just a matter of days.

The origins of DGM were first conceived in 2009 for employees at General Motors, United States. This diet program was tested by the Johns Hopkins Research Center.

Launching Live Strong, the purpose of this diet is to facilitate health programs within the company. The success of this diet was also followed by other companies such as the Sacred Heart diet, the Cleveland Clinic diet, and the Spokane Heart diet.

Within seven days this diet is able to lose weight reaching five to seven kilograms. However, it is important to remember that when following this diet you have certain restrictions on eating certain types of food. Here's the guide.


Day 1

You are recommended to eat fresh fruit on the first day of DGM. Suggested fruits include watermelon and melon, and avoid bananas. Also make sure you get enough water, about eight to 12 glasses of water. Make sure you don't touch any other food, apart from fruit throughout the day.


Day 2

If the first day is fruit day, on the second day you have the opportunity to fill your stomach with vegetables. You can cook it or eat it raw. But avoid consuming vegetables by frying or avoiding all types of oil.

Try to boil potatoes in the morning to fill the carbohydrate needs of the body. Recommended vegetables include beans, carrots, broccoli, cucumber, pumpkin, lettuce, and boiled cabbage. Also make sure while on this diet, you do not miss eight to 12 glasses of water a day.


Day 3

Fruits and vegetables are on your DGM menu on the third day. But again you are not recommended to eat bananas.


Day 4

Bananas and milk will be on the DGM menu on the fourth day. At least you should eat eight to 10 bananas in a day and are allowed to consume three glasses of milk in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

You will not feel hungry at all if you follow the previous three regimes.


Day 5

On the fifth day in the DGM, you should eat rice with enough amount of one cups for a lunch with six to seven tomatoes. On the fifth day, you should add 12 to 15 glasses of water in one day.


Day 6

Consume the same amount of rice (one cup) with a side dish of fresh vegetables. Not to forget you have to go back to drinking at least eight to 12 glasses of water.


Day 7

Fruit and vegetable juices cover your DGM. On the last day of this diet, you are allowed to eat one cup of rice and vegetables and topped with a fruit or vegetable juice of your choice.
